Art on Main is pleased to invite all poetry lovers to the gallery for a community reading on Friday, February 23 from 6:30 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. While our past events have featured some great New England talent we thought it would be fun to involve everyone by asking people to bring and read their favorite published poem. What a challenge! From Pablo Neruda to Mary Oliver to the classics like Robert Frost and William Butler Yeats and on to poets many of us may never have heard – the choice is yours. If you really cannot decide, bring two and if we have time we will do a second round of reading. This is meant to be a fun and very informal affair so no pressure about presentation.
