In collaboration with BCA's summer Flicks in the Park series, this screening will provide a high-level overview to interrelated housing policy issues, including redlining and segregation, suburbanization, and real estate speculation. The film will provide general education on the history of US housing policies that continue to influence housing systems today, and will provide a foundation for us to explore more local issues and solutions over the coming months.
