Now I want to go back when it is not raining out
and get people on their front porches.

Perhaps this Saturday during the Caroline St
flea market.

I just love front porches. I grew up on one!
In my playpen, with my dog.

Cheers to Michael

Since my break up last June 15, I've been looking for an apartment share. I went on Craigslist only to encounter scam artists, drug users, young people that are in need for someone to pay their rent, and I've been propositioned twice and etc, etc.. For some Craigslist is the "holy grail", I differ in opinion.

I'm a mature adult, designer, illustrator, chef, non smoker, only drink good wine with dinner, and love to share food with good conversation. I enjoy all of the arts, travel, photography is a passion as well as museums. I enjoy all sports, riding bicycles, and having picnics.

I have a therapeutic dog, we visit hospitals, nursing homes and rehabilitation centers. He is well behaved, lovable, and is known throughout SOHO. He was in a Japanese Fashion Magazine shot in Central Park last summer.

We are disparately in need of a place to live. If anyone knows of a place in Park Slope or near by areas. Please contact me asap., I am very serious and do not need jokesters.

Thanks for reading this and understanding.

What if families would not sell? Dec 9, 1960,why did this family have a fire blamed on everything but urban renewal? A family destroyed is what the title for urban renewal should be. all displaced families were put in upcoming projects . HUD also runs Indian reservations. What is the difference? Red blood or poor blood...they will find a place to hide you and oppress.

what a sweet story and so heartwarming to know that there are people out there that care enough to actually help the turtles rather than just stop and stare or poke and prod them. my son and his dad helped out two snappers on two different occasions, both of which were just last week, at blueberry lake in warren. wonder why they like to cross the road so much? anyhow, isnt there a joke like that? it goes like this: why did the snapping turtle attempt to cross the road...??? yeah, i am too tacky for words, huh? nice site; thanks for sharing, will!

Well, that's a perfect example of Robert Putnam's central dictum: 'many interactions over time lead to the norm of generalised reciprocity'! Great to see that it works through online interaction too.

Though it can't just be the 'online' element - there must be some combination of online and the physical locality that makes the development of social capital possible...
